world of our own..

1. let's visualize three person in this situation.

2. Person A : a Business & Marketing Graduate
Person B : a Computer Science Graduate
Person C : a Psychology & Human Studies Graduate

3. We should be well aware that all three are of different knowledge background and interest and different personalities and traits.

4. Each would have their own special and significant abilities.

5. A" would have no problem trying to sell a newly launched product and attract customers to learn about the product he/she's marketing.

6. B would be very well versed with the latest tech and gadgets; programming languages and softwares; networking and hardwares; system and database development; the list goes on and on as this field is ever growing.

7. C would be a very good listener and problem solver or at least would be able to provide atainted soul with a relieving words of comfort.

8. A and C will likely to know very little about current gadgets and techs while B would be less likely to enjoy communicating with strangers and would have a hard time winning a contract if persuading the client is needed

9. Earlier this evening, i tried my hands at selling a product to a real human being (done a few marketing through the net which does not require me to meet the customer in person), and doing it outdoor and with real human sure is bloody hard!!! The rejection and the weird look that were painted on the faces of strangers were merely supportive.

10. I gave up after two trials. But later gained my confidence and my third trial was better. And i sold a couple of products. Am so bloody happy. Fulfilled would be a better word for it. However, i still believe that people in my field, IT, though not all, but we are destined to sit in front of our laptop and stare at the monitor 24/7. and not facing human responds and rejections. haha

11. So after today's experience, I not only conclude that i am not a good salesperson, i also believe that each human being are special. We shouldn't underestimate anybody. We shouldn't look down upon salesperson in malls or stores, though they may not be of high edu but they have something that some of us don't; marketing skills. and as for others, please don't judge we IT people. We talk less, because we think more, in codes, that you don't understand. LMAO.

12. good nite. =P
