gmbr psport u lawa ke?
everytime i am told to get my passport photo taken, "alamak! not again!"..
i have never really fancy getting my passport photo taken. because i know, they never turn out any better than the uglicious.. urghh..
there's this one particular photo that i really like though. taken when i first took my driving license. and everytime i renew my license i would insist that JPJ uses my old photo hihi
the fact that i need to provide my employer with a new passport sized photo has caused me to google up "how to smile for a passport photo" LOL yeah i did google it up out of boredom.
well.. did you know that we are not allowed to SMILE for a passport photo. i mean, yea we do not usually smile when we are having our passport photo taken but my point is, there is a law that prohibits us from smiling. because this act would cause a confusion to the face recognition application.
'neutral expression' is what you have to do.
long fringes and head coverings were also not allowed (unless for religious means)
it is said that this measure is also to counter identity fraud and in a bid to fight terrorism.
so now i know..
well, google-ing silly things can sometimes broaden ones knowledge.. ;)
