this entry is meant as a helpful suggestion to those who intended to try your hands with Joomla! CMS..

1. today is my first day of work and i am put under a person who is in charge of content management..

2. the first thing that was asked of me was to read a Joomla! guide book.. it was like a thick 500++ pages college textbook.. i read the first few pages and started google-ing right after..

3. i was also asked to download Joomla! onto my localhost..

4. i already have my own copy of phpTriad but it's like a couple years old now so i decided to look for a newer version of the three triads needed to run Joomla..

5. apache + php + mySql

6. was suggested to download XAMPP.. tried so many times but failed..

7. googled again..

8. i found heaven when i found BitNami

9. the next time you need to install Joomla! oh please use BitNami

11. everything is settled in minutes.. no setup documents to be read.. everything is done by the program automatically..

1. been having this problem for quite some time now..

2. it becomes very annoying at times when i need to boot it up fast, presentation days, low battery power (and no switch anywhere around)

3. i've always mention my intention to reformat my OS..but being terribly busy, i could slot in formatting my laptop into my daily routine..

4. was in the library.. was google-ing past year questions.. it occured to me to find a solution to my CHKDSK problem.. so here it is..

THE SIMPLE SOLUTION

start - run - type in

cmd

command prompt pops up

type in

fsutil dirty query c:

if it mention c is dirty

type in

chkdsk c: /f  /x

you are done! try retstarting.. walla..

walla.. there you go.. my new desktop and OS theme.. Mac.. can't afford it.. but wearin' it alright.. LOL.. 

1. when people get bored or when the day feels so repetitious, people do things.. things that sometimes they won't choose to do in their right mind.. haha

2. a person who barely download anything from the internet, to afraid of the risks and threats that the web posses, downloaded gazillion things onto her laptop out of the blue.. getting bored with the same thing all the time. and she now feels so good about it. (tho crossing her fingers hoping that no bad malicious ware would harm her system)

3. the theme is running well. really love the sleek and clean look to it. dont quite like icons on my desktop, you see.. now there's none at all.

4. Mac wallpaper + Mac Dock + Mac Cursor set + Grandfather clock widget that goes dong-doooong every hour reminding me of the time that's running out + weather report + mini music player widget (don't have to bother opening WMP anymore). desktop clean as hell. all the widgets are near transparent-look and does not even pollute my desktop. Loving every inch of it.
